Recipe : Butter Prawn

I couldn't explain in words how delicious this sinful dish when I tasted it for the very first time. Sure it is high in cholesterol, but once a month should be okay..(wide smile) Big hugs and kisses to Afiqah Hassan's mom for cooking me this. Right from that moment, I have to know how it cook!

So, again.. I love to cook dishes that are not so fussy. No measurement, no timbang-timbang...just cook with your heart.I know its sound cliche, but I swear its true..

Lets cook up a storm!

What you need:

  • 1/2 kg medium prawns (about 15-20 prawns, cleaned and only tail intact )
  • 1 tablespoon frying oil (to avoid butter from burn)
  • 5 tablespoon butter
  • 3 tablespoon evaporated milk
  • 4-5 cili padi (depends how spicy you want, slice them thinly)
  • 2 strands curry leaves
  • 1 eggs (beaten lightly)

What you have to do:

  1. First, to prepare the egg floss (one on top), stir frying oil and pour in beaten egg and continue stir to get fine floss. Then keep aside.
  2. Now for the main dish, heat the frying oil and put in butter. Let it melt.
  3. When it starts bubbling, put in the cili padi and curry leaves.
  4. After a while, put in he prawns. Let them cook.
  5. Lastly, put in the evaporated milk and egg floss. Stir well.
  6. Make sure the prawns well-cooked and it ready to be served!

p/s: add extra butter or milk if you want extra gravy.

Enjoy my friends! Its easy to do and no bawang needed!
